Starting my career at AMV BBDO in 2003 and later leading the editing department at Great Guns for many years gave me access to unrivalled directorial and commercial production expertise. This environment allowed me to hone my short-form craft to where it is today—working with the biggest global brands on high-profile commercials and branded content.

I have had the privilege of editing for brands including Comfort, Sunsilk, Gillette, Dove, Sky, VW, Channel 4, Converse, Always, Olay, Braun, Aston Martin, Google, and Calvin Klein. I also had the unique opportunity to edit Band Aid 30—a music video recorded, shot, and edited for release in under 48 hours.

In 2012, I edited my first narrative short: the multi-award-winning 82, starring Nick Moran. This led to a string of successful narrative shorts, including Turn starring Rutger Hauer; Tom—starring Claire Holman (Lewis) and Alistair Petrie (Rogue One, The Night Manager) for the BFI and Creative England; Candice, starring Olivia Poulet (The Thick of It) and Nicholas Pinnock (Marcella); and The Driving Seat, which won multiple awards in 2017 and remains Short Frame’s most-streamed film, racking up an incredible 11 million views on YouTube.

Shortly after, I edited my first feature-length drama and documentary for ITV: The Pity of War, directed by Emmy nominee Jenny Ash and starring Sir John Hurt in his final leading role on the small screen. As the first ITV program cut in Adobe Premiere, I collaborated closely with Adobe on the workflow. The film received a 4-star review in The Telegraph and was named Pick of the Day in the Radio Times.

Returning to short form in 2021, I edited All The Little Things, a film exploring workplace microaggressions. Despite its November release, it became the most-streamed film on the Shots platform for the entire year.

Expanding into podcast editing, I have cut shows for clients such as Royal Ascot and Vogue contributing editor Bay Garnett. Guests have included Rachel Weisz, Christina Ricci, Sienna Miller, Emeli Sandé, and 2023 BAFTA Fellow Sandy Powell shortly after her win.

My first multi-episode editorial collaboration was the three-part Discovery+ series Viagra: The Little Blue Pill That Changed The World, exploring the cultural impact of Viagra. Beyond being a pleasure to cut, the series won the 2023 Leo Award for Best Direction in a Documentary Series and provided a rewarding opportunity to collaborate with other editors across a long-form structure.

Recently, I edited Singapore Airlines’ Beyond the Cabin series via TBWA Singapore. Using seamless transitions and a mix of photography, Super 16mm, and digital media, the 2-minute films brought diverse textures and pace to their in-flight entertainment. Following its success, a second season was immediately commissioned.

In 2024, I edited my first narrative feature, Satu – Year of the Rabbit, set in Laos. Shot entirely on Super 16mm in the Lao language, the film follows a boy searching for his mother.after being abandoned at a Buddhist monastery a decade earlier. It premiered at the Raindance Film Festival, where it was nominated for Best Debut Feature, and won the Golden Shika Award at the Nara International Film Festival (securing a $100,000 production grant for a future feature). The film went on to earn a 2024 BIFA nomination in the Maverick filmmaking category and a BAFTA best director nomination  at the BAFTA 2025 Cymru awards.
